Which night flight lighting fits your model?

Lucid night flight lighting comes in four sizes. The right one depends on the wingspan of your model – here is how to choose.

Choose by wingspan

The wingspan decides: the larger the model, the more LEDs per wing end it needs to stay clearly visible at night. Every set contains two lights, one for each wing.

Between two sizes? Take the larger one – more light never hurts in night flying.

Inches or centimetres?

The sizes are named after the wingspan in inches, as is common for RC models. One inch is 2.54 cm.

48–60″approx. 1.22–1.52 m
60–91″approx. 1.52–2.31 m
91–104″approx. 2.31–2.64 m
104–125″approx. 2.64–3.18 m

What else do you need?

  • Mounting plates: matched to every size, so the light can be screwed on cleanly and removed again at any time.
  • Power supply: a 2S LiPo (7.0–8.4 V) powers the lights.
  • Controller or switch: to switch the lights on and choose the light pattern. The MiniSwitch has one channel, the 8-channel light controller has eight light channels and two ignition channels.
  • Hook-and-loop strap: to secure batteries and cables.
